Treatments aim to treat the whole person by helping to restore the harmony of mind, body and energy. The benefits can complement other lifestyle and health choices and are NOT intended to be used in place of healthcare by an NHS professional. Treatments DO NOT include anything of a sexual nature and clients modesty is protected at all times.
Ruth is a qualified complementary therapist. She set up her self-employed business AromaRelax in 2016 and has since gained experience working within hotel spa's, her own local salon, mobile treatments and holistic festivals. She is pleased to be joining the team at Molford House Surgery alongside the other therapists in 2020. Ruth completely understands the value of time out for quiet relaxation and how difficult it can be to fit this in around daily life, she therefore offers flexibility regarding hours and days for treatment availability to fit in around clients busy lifestyles.
Ruth holds VTCT level 3 diplomas in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and hot stones massage and is ITEC level 3-4 qualified in sports massage. She also has a practitioner certificate in Reiki, Indian Head massage and a level 2 VTCT certificate in Holistic Facials and Skincare. Ruth is a member of, and insured, by the Foundation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
After graduating with a BSc (hons) degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter, Ruth worked as a microbiologist initially before working within the NHS for a number of years in a variety of project based and managerial roles.
