Christine is an Integrative and Relational Counsellor and Supervisor, based in North Devon. That means she has trained in many different types of therapy and agrees with her clients the most appropriate way of working, to enable them to meet their needs. She is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision from Worcester University.
As a counsellor she offers a warm, empathic environment for clients to explore their issues, whatever they may be. As a supervisor Christine explores client's work to ensure a sound ethical, relational and theoretical basis for practice. Working with clients to find answers to workplace dilemmas, improving reflective practice, developing skills and critical thinking, supporting self-care, resilience, and guarding against becoming overwhelmed.
As a result of the pandemic and lockdown Christine has been working mainly on line, face-to-face with clients. This has proved to be extremely effective and a lot of clients prefer it as they feel safer and it saves travelling and a bigger time commitment.
Clients are also offered the opportunity to experience both therapy and supervision with horses, or to receive experiential training in this growing modality if they choose to do so.
