Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture

Let your inner beauty, vitality and serenity shine through

Facial Acupuncture has been used as part of traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years, to restore, promote and maintain positive health and beauty.

It is a safe, natural alternative to surgical procedures and fillers. Many people are increasingly choosing acupuncture as a method of facial enhancement and improving well-being.

How does it work?

Facial Acupuncture treats the whole person, and aims to slow the ageing process from within.

  • Eliminate the appearance of fine lines and diminish deeper wrinkles by stimulating collagen production, thus helping to firm the skin and fill out wrinkles
  • Reduce puffiness through improved metabolism
  • Reduce bags and sagging around the eyes
  • Firm jowls for better jaw line definition, minimise double chin appearance and sculpt cheekbones through improved muscle tone and dermal contraction
  • Significantly improve oily or overly dry skin, acne and scar healing

The daily stresses of modern life and a tendency to adopt habitual expressions can leave their mark on your face. Facial acupuncture seeks to transform your appearance resulting in younger, calmer and less worn looking features. The effect is a natural, glowing lift that brings out your inner radiance.

All treatments are tailor made to suit the individual needs of clients and may include acupuncture, facial massage (using the highest quality essential oils), jade roller application and acupressure. The whole person is evaluated and treated – an approach that lies at the heart of Chinese Medicine.

Discounts for course bookings are available.A course of treatments generally consists of 6-12 sessions, 1-2 times a week for best results.

The effects of treatment become most noticeable after 6 to 7 sessions. Each person responds differently, depending on their condition and lifestyle prior to treatment.

Facial acupuncture treatment should always be performed by a properly qualified acupuncturist, registered with the British Acupuncture Council and with post-graduate training specialising in Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture. Heidi O’Neill meets all these requirements.

A 1996 article in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with facial acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment. The effects included an improvement in the elasticity of facial muscles and leveling of wrinkles, a healthier complexion along with an overall rejuvenation which was not simply confined to the face.
